New photosession

During the band’s recent trip north for the three August UK gigs, they also travelled to Edinburgh for a photoshoot for the forthcoming tour and album with the immensely talented photographer David Boni.

Sil Willcox elaborated “David’s background is advertising and therefore his style sometimes adds a twist of provocation not seen in a lot band photography”.

We hope to have more details on his ideas and choices for the latest shoot soon and are eager to see the results. David’s unique style can be viewed on his website here.

UK gigs in Summer 1979

At the start of 1979, the band ventured further afield to tour some new territories as well as working on solo projects. Towards the middle the year, they were keen to get back to their UK audience and also to air new tracks from their forthcoming studio album.

The audiences were treated to a similar set to the Black and Blue tour earlier this year including the epic new track Freedom Is Insane.

We can reveal that details of a UK tour during March next year are being finalised at present.

Approximately 20 gigs are planned through the month. Although further details are currently not available, we should have the full confirmed tour itinerary on the site very soon.

The next in the series of memorabilia articles highlights the items relating to Live (X Cert) and The Raven which were both released in 1979.

The band have a trio of gigs this coming weekend in the North West of England and Scotland.
